Re-authenticating Facebook Connections for 2 Factor Authentication
Incident Report for TapClicks
Resolved
Dear TapClick's Customers,

Facebook is encouraging 2 factor authentication. If/when you move to 2 factor authentication for your Facebook accounts (Facebook Ads, Facebook Insights, Instagram Professional) you will need to re-authenticate your connection within TapClicks. Here are the steps to re-authenticate:

* Go to Manage Services
* Find Facebook Ads tile, then click on the “Plug” icon in the upper right corner of the tile
* BEFORE the next step, best practice is to open Facebook in a new tab and Log Out of Facebook
* Find the account you want to re-authenticate from the drop down, then click the “Re-Authenticate” button
* Then, enter in the User Name and Password for that account and move through the 2 factor authentication flow

You will need to repeat this for each Facebook connection you have (Ads, Insights, Instagram Professional)

None of your mappings will be lost and if for some reason your data was delayed, once your connection has been re-authenticated the system will work on filling the missing days.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to customercare@tapclicks.com or your Customer Success Manager.

Thank you!
